Vintage 60's Champagne Brocade & Voile Cocktail Dress (M/L) From France

LOVELY ATTENTION TO DETAIL

Fabulously classy and restrained evening dress with raised collar and buttoned-cuff long sleeves. These and the top half of the upper body are made of see-though champagne voile but it's all left to the imagination as the rest of the dress is made very opaque champagne satin embroidered with a contrasting cream foliage and trellis-like brocade. Princess-cut top half with fitted bust and waist. Loose fitted bottom half. Satin section of the dress is fully lined. Zip closure at back but only up to the collar which remains open.

Measurements: fits bust 91 cm (36"), waist: 76 to 79 cm (30"-31"), hips: free, length: 100 cm (40")

No label. Looks handmade but a professional seamstress. France. Circa 1964.
